About us

Atelier Linnea started in San Jose, California, with a simple wish: to make kitchen linens that look good and feel good to use, every day.

Our inspiration comes from French country homes and Scandinavian design. We like the warmth of one and the simplicity of the other, and bring a little of both to the things we make.

We use linen made from 100% European flax for its texture and durability. It softens with washing, dries quickly, and, with proper care, stays fresher between uses. We also love how it looks after a wash, with its natural wrinkles and a little less crispness.

Our pieces are made for everyday cooking, long lunches, and the washing up afterward. A towel should earn its place by the stove. An apron should be comfortable enough to forget you’re wearing it. And either should make a lovely gift for someone who enjoys being in the kitchen.
